  • Hi, there's been a proposal to merge the other Bahamut wiki (https://saijaku-muhai-no-bahamut.fandom.com/wiki/Undefeated_Bahamut_Chronicle_Wiki) into this one. I think this is a good idea, but I'd like to get the opinion of you, another admin, first. You can find out what merging involves here: https://community.fandom.com/wiki/Help%3AMerging_communities.

    • Hmmm....since this is about the Bahamut anyways, I think thing also a good idea too.

  • I think that the Notes section on the Story Arc pages doesn't need to be there. From what I've seen so far, the information in this section could either be included in the main text or simply left out. Not everything needs to be included on a page, after all. If it's alright with you, I'll start removing these sections.

  • I've been wondering about this for a while, but should past tense be used in the articles of deceased characters? That's how I've seen it used on other wikis, and googling the topic also suggests that past tense should be used.

  • You may already know this, but there's another wiki on this series, the Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle Wiki. That wiki is a lot smaller than this one, at 65 pages, and much less active - the last activity was 15 days ago. I was thinking of sending the founder of that wiki a request to merge the two wikis together. I think it would be less confusing to fans if there was only one wiki on the series instead of two.

There have been some disagreements between the wikis in the past over this topic (see here and here), so I'd like to get your opinion first, as another admin of this wiki.

  • Currently, the Character template includes links to separate Image Gallery, Relationships and Quotes pages. I'm thinking of changing the template to remove these links, because the vast majority of characters in the series don't have enough images, relationships or quotes to merit separate pages for these. Only the most important characters would still have these pages, which would be linked to from the main character page.

  • It would be a good idea to include references in your edits, so that others can see where you got the information from. You can find a guide on how to do this here.

  • The afterword of Volume 15 gives official names for the story arcs: Academy Arc (Volumes 1-5), Seven Dragon Paladins Arc (6-14) and New Kingdom Arc (15- ). Should we use these names instead? The information on the current arc pages could be moved to the volume pages (e.g. "Fallen Prince Arc" to "Light Novel Volume 1").

I have a suggestion about the layout of character pages. This would be to have one "History" section instead of separate "History" and "Plot" sections. Past events, which are currently in the History section, would be moved to a "Background" sub-section within the new History section. I've already started using this layout for the pages I've created recently.

I think that navboxes would help readers find their way around this wiki. I've made a navbox for the New Kingdom Atismata and added it to the Lux Arcadia page. Please take a look at that and give me your opinion.

Finally, are you interested in being an admin for this wiki?

    • Well, here is my answers to these questions

      • The way I see these are actually Sagas over instead of story arcs. Nevertheless, I would going to add them in anyway.
      • That will do, saves us some troubles ahead...
      • Regarding the navboxes, I actually find it quite amazing. It would be a lot more interesting to see more navboxes just like that one...
      • As for the last question?Yes, I am certainly want to be the part of this team! Sign me in!

    • Okay, I'll start adding navboxes to the other pages. I'm thinking of creating a navbox for each of the seven major countries, along with a navbox for other major groups such as the Seven Dragon Paladins.

Alright, you're now an admin for the wiki.

    • On a different note, what did you think about Volume 15? I've made a blog post for discussing it here.

  • Hi, I've noticed that you use the name "Royal Arcadia Empire" to refer to the nation that once ruled the world. In the translation I've been using, I've only ever seen it called the "Holy Arcadia Empire", and I think that this name is more suitable. From what I understand, it's closer to the original Japanese name.

    • No, in the eyes of me, Royal Arcadia Empire is more appropriate is because it displaying its ancient nobility. So I will going to stick to that.

    • However, I think that calling an Empire "Royal" is a bit redundant (any empire, including the Old Arcadia Empire, is ruled by royalty by definition), whereas "Holy" makes more sense as the imperial family act as if they're gods and they used to use special Abyss called Angels (Volume 14, Episode 3).
